Be Free Ministries
The heart of Be Free Ministries was released in June 2010 as Minister Stephanie Humphrey watched an episode of Life Today that discussed sex trafficking. She began to intercede for the women and young girls she saw on the screen and for the hearts she did not see. Minister Humphrey told the Lord, “I can’t get to them, but I can do something.” The cry of her heart was, “Lord, what do you want me to do?" The Lord told Minister Humphrey to expand her ministry into a Prayer and Teaching Gathering and Global Ministry.
In October 2010, God gave Minister Humphrey Be Free Ministries as the umbrella for her ministry. Be Free Ministries focuses on holistic ministry for women, but the Lord gives specific times for ministry to men and children. The desire of the ministry is for you, and every person, to understand and fully embrace your worth in Christ Jesus, so that you will be the whole individual God has ordained you to be.
Be Free Ministries' first event was "Be Free in the Glory!", a prayer gathering on December 18, 2010, at Kingdom Builders Church, Durham, NC. Each intercessor was given one of the following assignments to pray individually: the Education System, Government (local, state and national), Churches & Ministries, Church Leadership and the Body of Christ. Corporate intercession included: Women as Wives, Single Women, Abused Women, Hurting Women, and Women in Ministry. Minister Humphrey is thankful for the humble beginnings of Be Free Ministries and fully appreciates how the Lord Christ Jesus has and is expanding the ministry.
We currently host the Summer Gathering in June and the Pocketbook Exchange Fellowship in October. We host Bible Study via The Stephanie Humphrey Channel on Thursdays @6:30pm on YouTube Live and additional gatherings, as the Lord leads. Listen to our podcast on Spotify, Anchor FM, and Apple Podcasts. Blessings!

Minister Humphrey
Minister Stephanie Humphrey accepted Jesus Christ into her heart at the tender age of fifteen. Shortly after, Minister Humphrey felt a desire to teach God's word. She spoke to Pastor Gordon Marshall, Superintendent of Sunday School at Evening View MB Church. Pastor Gordon shared that he felt my sincerity and passion and that he would find room for me. That summer, I taught my first Biblical class at Vacation Bible School.
At the age of sixteen, Minister Humphrey heard God's call to the ministry and was led to Matthew 28. She heeded God's voice and at the age of twenty-two, preached her first sermon, "The Armor of God", Ephesians 6 under the leadership of then Pastor Herbert R. Davis and Elder E.A. Moore. Six years later, Minister Humphrey became an ordained minister under the leadership of Apostle Vernell and Prophetess Juliette Alston.
Currently, Minister Humphrey leads Be Free Ministries and Aunties Against Abuse. She also hosts a weekly broadcast and podcast and yearly ministry events.
